1 hour long interview with HR and Manager. Was the usual questioning. They mentioned that it would be 'informal' but was sometimes difficult and very formal. Went on for 1 hour. Was told that they need someone desperately and there is lots of work to be done. When I asked about the next part of the process I was told that I may need to do another interview and potentially a small project. (bit tedious) But i was happy to do it if asked. 2 days after interview received email from HR saying: 'Regrettably, the recruitment for the ecommerce administration assistant has been temporarily put on hold due to a change in our business priorities.' Stark contrast from the language used in the interview but I've had 10 interviews in marketing in the last 6 months so i'm not surprised anymore in these alluring words used in interviews.
