Applied online and got a phone interview. I then travelled to Reston where I interviewed with 6 people - VPs, hiring manager and would-be peers. The interviews went well and I had positive experiences with several of the interviewers. The hiring manager gave me a date when they would get back with a response. Come the date, no email phone call or anything. I gave them a couple of days and then called, no answer from the hiring manager. I left a voicemail. I called again several times and sent emails since I had another offer that was expiring and needed to decide ASAP. However, they completely left me in the dark and never sent me an accept or decline.
Considering this was a mid management position reporting to a VP, I find this to be extremely unprofessional. Also having invested time, money and effort to travel to Virginia for the interviews, I expected much more professional behaviour. The worst they could have done was to have HR send me one of those "We regret to inform you" emails.

Met with original phone Screener, asked various generic questions and qualifications. Then met with recruiter who was representing the hiring manager, who then asked more detailed questions. Met with the hiring manager. Who asked about managing different projects, different scopes, different scales and different budgets and then met with a peer.
