The interview process was straightforward. The interviewers were very friendly, it was a panel of 3 who I went before. The range of questions were focused on my people skills, management skills, and there were questions asked that were very NHS specific as they were looking for a desirable to be NHS experience previously.

Explain what you would do if a budget holder was not exercising adequate control over their budget? What would be your approach to identify and address any financial risk to Alder Hey?
Took about 10 minutes, ask questions about why I wanted to work here, asked to describe two accounting terms, one of them being as 'accurals'. Spoke about progression, and who you will under, and so on.
