Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en NASA (South Bend, IN) en feb 2017
Entrevista
Received a phone call from the internship coordinator at Johnson Space Center out of the blue after applying online. I was asked some basic questions about my interest in NASA and engineering experience and I was informed that I was the top candidate for the position I applied to. I received a formal offer a few weeks later.

Entrevista
It was a very relaxed, phone interview with my potential supervisor. Basic questions about how i work best and why I chose engineering. He told me a bit about the project he wanted me to work on and basically offered me the job if I was willing to take the spring and summer off to work there.

I applied for the position through NASA's OSSI web site for students seeking summer employment. 5 days later I received an interview from an internship coordinator stating that I was being identified as a summer candidate for the specific project to which I'd applied. From there, a phone interview was scheduled for a few weeks later.
The interview itself was quite easy. It had a few technical questions mostly covering entry level chemistry and materials science principles.
A few months later I heard back that I was no longer being considered for the position.
