A really strange process, wherein the recruiting team were clearly feeling out whether the role was even necessary to begin with...
I felt like other roles were being recruited simultaneously, and that the process of building the marketing team was a bit if a misguided one, which need to be led by a competent and experienced senior marketing manager, who was already within the business (as opposed to HR and others).
The questions were all highly general in nature, and there were many rapid facts being thrown around about the business and existing marketing function.
