A recruiter reached out for the position of Staff Product Designer - Design Systems. Spoke on phone for 20 minutes - Basic intro, details about the role and confirmed that next round will be with Hiring Manager. The entire process is well organized through a portal. there is a workflow in place with each step of the interview and the portal also has some reference documents to prepare for the interview. However, for me, post the recruiter round there was no further communication about selection or rejection. I reached out to the recruiter through the same recruitment portal but no response. The recruiter ghosted me. I can still access the portal and see that my current stage is 'Hiring Manager Interview' which has already happened but no results.

Very streamlined and tailored to my focus area. I was able to meet with both people within my discipline as well as collaborators. After my initial set of interviews, the team determined I may be a fit for a different role with broadened responsibilities that better aligned to my interests and skills. They were very transparent about this alternate opportunity and worked with me to determine if I would be interested in this role - which I was. Additionally, the team was open to my request to speak with additional stakeholders to better understand the scope of the role and respective design opportunities I would be working on.
