Mondo first interviewed me for a contract position with a large, well known company In Melville, N.Y. Within a few days I met my future manager. The interview went well. Because my position is more technical in nature I answered the questions to her satisfaction. But I think they were looking for a person who would "fit" well. I believe it's important to approach the interview with some energy, not over eager energy, but just having a positive energy and enthusiasm. Some of the thing I've ended up doing and hadn't done before, but I believe I gave my manager a sense of confidence that I could get it done, and I have.
As far as more details go, you can prepare for an interview as best you can. My manager had my resume in front of her and asked about some of the specifics of my work experience. Then spoke about the position itself. I believe it's important to ask questions about the position one is interviewing for; it shows interest and a willingness to get working right away. As luck would have it, I received a phone call later the same day that I'd been hired.
