Applied to Momentum online. Did not hear anything for about a week. Received an email about initial phone interview. HR employee was very nice and pleasant to speak with. Said she would like to get me to the next round after our 30 minute interview. Next, was a portfolio review with management. Which did not go so well. They were late to the meeting. They did not have my information pulled up or even seemed to have looked at my portfolio or work before our call. Very rude on interrupting me mid-sentence to ask questions about things already displayed on my portfolio. I prepared a presentation for them and was rudely disregarded from presenting it to them. Lack of respect really rang my red flag here. At the end they asked if I would like to do a design challenge. Which I accepted. I completed my challenge within 24hrs. Explaining my processes and reasonings. Did not hear a word for almost a week. Finally I reached out to see if I was still being considered. Rejection email. Like why give me the challenge if you didn't even want me to present it. I got really bad vibes from the User experience manager and should have ended my candidacy then.

Spoke with their office manager(?) initially. Had a great conversation. Felt like there was a good connection. Was really excited to continue. They gave me a design exercise. Like all design exercises as part of an interview process I probably spent a little too much time on it. The next step was to present my work to a design manager and designer. They were both cool. I felt good. I felt like the interview went well. Conversation was good. And after investing all that time, I never heard back. After following up a few times, not a single word. I put in a lot of time and they couldn't even send me a quick response to one of my emails to tell me it wasn't going to work out.
