I applied for the position through craigslist and three days later got an email for an interview for the following week. The interview took place over Skype. It was about 40 minutes long and probably one of the hardest interviews of my life. Questions started off simple (Why do you want to tutor? How much experience do you have tutoring? etc.) and become harder as the interview progressed. Some questions I had to stop and think about (How can you relate to children? How would you get a child interested in a subject that he/she is struggling with? etc.). After the interview, make sure to send out a thank-you email to your interviewer (make sure to get their email!). About three days after my interview, I got an email telling me that I was hired and needed to turn in documents and be live scanned.
