I had an excellent interview experience with Mixpanel. Great coordination on the part of recruiting! Mixpanel is currently building their HR department and has used a well experienced and imbedded HR consultant who has put in place many HR processes and has helped the company create a robust hiring plan for the department. Not many start-ups invest in their people as much as Mixpanel has at this stage. HR departments are critical for company success and understaffing this function is an approach that many start-ups unfortunately take. Luckily these people know what they are doing! Based on what I have learned about the company through my own research and through the team I interviewed with, this company is doing well and will scale successfully as it continues rapid growth. Also, the team I interviewed with in legal, finance, ops, customer support are great people with extensive experience. Awesome culture!

Tough interviewers, several of whom were running late, one or two were lovely, the recruiting coordination and communication was smooth. The overall process was slow, but it was around the holidays.
