Top five worst interviews. Millipore Sigma recently acquired them, making it difficult to gauge the company culture and team dynamics. I initially met with a talent advisor who did not give me with the best impression. Despite their apparent doubt in my qualifications, they pushed me through to the next round of interviews. I spoke with the director, who came across condescending and was difficult to connect with. It became evident during the interview that they were not planning to follow up, which made the whole experience unpleasant. I feel as though people forget that interviews are meant to be two-way. As I suspected, I was no longer considered a candidate after the second interview. I received a very impersonal and automated email informing me of this. I reached out to the recruiter in hopes of getting some feedback on how to improve, but I received a very vague response. I tried to follow up with specific questions, but never heard back. The whole experience was very off-putting.
