Phone screening was pretty standard. Very general questions and information. I left that feeling pretty good. Went in for an in person interview with two sales managers. One was on his computer basically the entire time and only ended up asking around two questions while the other spoke most of the time. They mainly talked about the sales goals and development into other positions. On my way out one of the sales managers said they weren’t supposed to say things like this, but that he really liked me and I’ve basically got the job. While that was appreciated, it was pretty unprofessional as I received an email the next day saying that they decided to move in a different direction.
