Applied for the role and got a call via the recruiter the same day however no JD was provided by the company, and very minimal information pertaining to the role was given. I was put forward for the role and interviewed on an agreed salary. Stage 1 went as expected via teams, no issues or red flags - 30 minute informal interview. Stage 2 was the complete opposite. The additional member who joined the second stage was very cold from the offset, asked irrelevant questions about the role and also asked personal questions about children and partners, I got a very judgemental vibe and felt the interview was more personal than work specific. Within this interview, the first person who I originally interviewed with was very intimidated by the additional member and was almost pandering to them which was very off-putting and screamed red flags. I was offered the role however was low balled at £3k less, and the role was then retracted when I had asked to go away and think about the offer. Baring in mind I was presented with a low ball offer which was lower than my current salary, I felt this was inappropriate, unkind and spoke volumes about the way the business operates. Overall I feel as though I have dodged a massive bullet in this case and am happy I did not comply to the bait and switch method they tried to use. They offer no benefits apart from the use of a swimming pool, however given what many companies offer currently I would not class this as a benefit especially based on what my current company offers. They do not seem to care about the position you are in and what you are prepared to walk away from, they oversaw the value and what could have been bought to the table from past experience and 10+ years in Credit Control, which is massively their loss! There salary is a flat rate salary and there is no room for movement and no bonus scheme is in place. I would not recommend this business based on my experience and would make sure tonget in writing the salary you have agreed to be interviewed for to ensure they do not continue to bait and switch, and offer you expect what has been discussed before the interview has taken place. Absolute waste of everybody's time and efforts. And finally, the office is in a lovely building..in the basement! No natural light and no fresh air which is quite unappealing, most likely why is it only 2 days in the office as any more would be unbearable!

It was a two stage interview process the first stage they really explain the role and ask you common interview questions like tell me about yourself ? Or what do you know about miki ? So be prepared for those kind of common interview question. The second interview was with HR they try to get a feel of you as a person so it’s more behavioural based questions like if you had a disagreement with a colleague how would you try to resolve the issue ?
