Unreal. The interview was an infuriating two minutes. Asked if I was willing to relocate. I said yes. Asked what my salary requirements are. I said 80-90 (they posted 60-80 on the description). She immediately says she doesn't want to go forward with the interview. I asked why. She said because of my salary requirements and relocation. I have ten years of experience, already said I would relocate, and my salary was in their range, yet she immediately ends the interview and gets argumentative.

The hiring manager was great and seemed very friendly, inviting, and genuine about wanting to know more about my background and skills. After 2 interview rounds, I received an offer. I followed up with HR to get more information on the benefits package only to be sent with wishy-washy, unclear responses, which resulted in me having to send emails back and forth to get a clearer picture on their PTO, 401K match information, and so on. Suddenly, without any warning, the offer was rescinded with no explanation!!! Extremely unprofessional company with unqualified HR staff. Message for HR- it is literally your job to provide a candidate with a comprehensive overview of the details of the offer, including the benefits package, etc. The onus doesn't rest on the candidate to pry that information from you. Message to job seekers - be prepared to have your offer rescinded for absolutely no reason. My advice - don't bother applying to MicroLogic at all, look elsewhere.
