After putting in the application online, was called within a week. I was interviewed with another applicant but it seems that is not usual. Whole interview including the paper test on general knowledge and computerized technical literacy test, the interview was about 2 hours. Afterwards, they inform you the pay rate is only $8.50 an hour... non negotiable. Pay schedule is bi-weekly.

Easy quick test of knowledge in tech and math to make sure it works the way they should. A couple quick question on why you want to work there and a quick test to see if you can determine real and fake cash.

Phone Interview/ In Person Interview/Aptitude Test
Seemed to go okay but there were delays in responses. I noticed there were more men employed there than women- my resume might have been not the best it could to showcase my history in retail/management/csr/merchandising.
It seemed to go smoothly for a short while, and the 2nd manager offered me a role and i accepted- then after i took my test i was ghosted with no response.
I figured then I was rejected, could have been the test, not sure- I was running an errand that day, and i went in store to check and the manager who initially offered me a role seemed *uncomfortable* that i was there and I felt a bit unwanted. So that left a weird impression on me- perhaps its because they don't have a phone, and felt put on the spot?
It was a dampener of my previous shopping experiences there and i felt a bit judged against then with the managers discomfort of my presence.
I am unaware if they found me offensive somehow or if they just didn't want to hire a woman at that time- but being ghosted was a bit unwelcoming.
I'm a customer too-
A normal rejection would have been more polite.
