El proceso duró más de 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Mersive (New York, NY)
Entrevista
Phone call with recruiter followed by technical phone screen followed by take home assignment followed by on-site.
Reached the take home challenge step. It was a simple assignment, completed it and sent it to them. Got a generic rejection mail few days later. Disappointing that they did not give any feedback or reason for rejection street investing so much time in the process.

El proceso duró 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Mersive (New York, NY)
Entrevista
The process consisted of an initial phone call, a technical phone screening, an on your own time project, a 4 hour in person technical interview, meeting with CEO/CTO.
They intensively asked about everything on my resume, whether it applied to the job or not. They also asked technical questions far beyond the job responsibilities in an effort to judge how extensive my knowledge was. Also some critical thinking questions to see me think out loud.
They spent so much time ensuring I knew what I said I knew and could solve problems. I could, so they loved me but I didn't much care for them at that point. No one made an effort to know anything about me personally and thus I didn't feel a connection with anyone outside of the CEO. Which was really too bad, the people make the job for me.
No possibility of working from home at all so having to drive downtown each and every day to spend my time with people I didn't connect with wasn't appealing. The offer was low on top of that so I didn't make an attempt to negotiate since I didn't want to waste any of either party's time.
