I recently went through the interview process for the Financial Solutions Advisor role at Merrill, and while I appreciated the opportunity, I found several aspects to be concerning. This could potentially lead to challenges down the line, especially for someone new to the role. The final interview was with the market executive, who struck me as quite pessimistic. He seemed to lack enthusiasm and came across as someone who believes he's doing better than he actually is. This attitude was off-putting and made me question the overall culture of the team. Overall, if you're looking for a role focused on sales without a strong emphasis on investment knowledge, this could be a fit. However, I would advise potential candidates to approach with caution, considering the mixed signals about the role and the leadership dynamics.
