The hiring manager reached out and was great to talk to—seemed like someone I’d be happy to work for. However, the technical interview with the IC was disappointing. The interviewer appeared unenthusiastic and distracted, which made it challenging to engage in the discussion. In hindsight, it’s probably for the best that I didn’t move forward.
After the process, I came across concerns in other reviews about workplace culture, including reports of discrimination against Southeast Asians and internal dating within the company. These are definitely red flags for me and something worth considering for potential candidates.
Disappointing process. My technical round consisted of multiple questions where the interviewer refused to engage in conversation when solving questions. Felt like I was talking to a wall. Had to ask the interviewer multiple times if they were understanding my thought process, if they had questions and wanted me to clarify anything and was met with an awkward silence and more nodding. They were distracted the entire time and it felt like they were interviewing to hit a quota rather than to hire because they just kept on giving me more technical questions after I finished the current one. I would avoid wasting your time with this company

Applied online, a recruiter reached out to schedule a screening interview. Standard coding interview, followed by 3 rounds of onsite interview. After that there was supposed to be an interview with the CTO. Cleared the onsite and was scheduled for the last round with the CTO. But 2 days before the final interview, another recruiter reached out to talk about salary expectations and start date. I told my expectation which was well within the posted range in the job description and then half an hour later I get a generic rejection email. Extremely unprofessional way to handle things. Looking back now, I am glad I did not have to join this company as I saw some Glassdoor reviews saying things there are not quite what they seem.
