Started with email outreach, phone screen with recruiter and then proceeded to a phone interview with the hiring manager. All was great and a super day (5+ interviews) was scheduled. Interviews were great with very intelligent people and I enjoyed speaking with everyone. Seemed like a great place to work. I was told they would be in touch in a couple of weeks after a decision was made. This was 2 months ago. Repeated follow ups were ignored and I've been ghosted. I expect more from a company like Merck especially when you put a candidate through a rigorous interview process. Have the decency to acknowledge emails. My thank you emails were also ignored by the team. Up to the point of being ghosted, it was a great experience but ultimately has left a negative impression.
