I had gone through 4 rounds of interviews, and I had told my expectations strongly to the HR in the beginning. 4 stages later and a "You are hired" later, the HR states their budget cannot meet my expectations. All interviews are a time-consuming process like this: writing assessments and trying to build a good rapport with the CDs and management is a waste, all because the HR overlooked the expectations which I had clearly stated before starting this process.
