My Interview Experience – Honest and Unfiltered I typically don’t write reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience for those considering applying here. The process started off very well. I received a fast response after submitting my application and had a phone interview with HR the next day, which went smoothly. Shortly after, I was asked to complete two assessments: one relevant to the role and another that seemed like an IQ or personality test. The second test felt unnecessary and not a good use of time, especially considering its lack of relevance to the job. From what I’ve seen, the company has had some negative reviews in the past. It seems like they may be trying to implement a more rigorous interview process to improve their hiring reputation, which I can understand. Within the first three days, I completed the initial phone interview and both tests. Then, things began to slow down. It took two weeks before I heard anything again, and only after I followed up did HR get back to me, mentioning they needed to check in with the hiring manager. A week later, I finally received an invitation for a second interview via video. That second interview went well. The questions were mostly scenario-based and fair. While I may have missed one or two, I felt confident in my responses and believed my experience made me a strong candidate. I also had a contact at the company who told me I made a good impression — unless they weren’t being honest. Not getting the job wasn’t the issue — that happens. What bothered me was the complete lack of communication after the second interview. I waited two weeks, sent a follow-up email to HR, and received no response. Later, I found out they had already chosen another candidate not long after my interview — but no one ever informed me. At the time I’m writing this, it’s been six weeks since my last interview, and I’ve still received no official update or closure from HR. That kind of silence, especially after putting a candidate through multiple steps and weeks of waiting, is simply unprofessional. I’m actually glad I didn’t get the job — if this is how they communicate during the hiring process, it might reflect how they operate internally. I hope this helps others understand what to expect, and I encourage the company to consider improving its candidate communication going forward. Thanks for reading.
