Applied online and contacted by a recruiter about a week after. The initial phone screening went well, but the recruiter was in a hurry and does not seem very professional like I expected. The process to schedule a phone interview was fast and got a panel phone interview about couple days after. Here comes the really bad parts. Since the 3 interviewers are all in different locations, so we had to use an online conference call to make the interview happen. The hiring manager's volume was low and hard to pick up, and one of the project manager on the call had very bad connection, and it was almost impossible to hear. The hiring manager was pretty good but the other 2 interviewers were not patient. The entire interview only lasted about 30 mins. Since the interview experience was bad, I didn't put too much hope on passing the phone interview. One thing to suggest to MAXIMUS, if you have to do a panel phone interview, please standardize the device that interviewers use and make sure the network connection is good. It is very hard for the interviewees to go through a bad phone interview like this.
