Not a bad process until the end where was kept waiting for over a week after the final stage. Overall was structured well, meeting with various individuals but did not meet one senior person who was on the panel deciding which never made sense.

Got reached out to for an intro call. Asked me about my experience, and then took a turn for the shady. Asked me to share all of my deals and performance on the year, and then asked me if I would be comfortable if they contacted my manager as a reference should we get to that point. Assured me they weren't going to reach out until I had an offer, and ended the call telling me he would reach out by the end of next day to schedule the next round (would have been Friday). Fast forward to the following Wednesday, and hadn't heard a word despite me following up. It turned out this scumbag had reached out through back channels to my current employer asking about me and telling them it was because I was interviewing for this role. I found out about it that day, and then he magically reappeared later in the day to schedule the next round. Then, after scheduling me, calls and leaves a voicemail saying they needed to reschedule, and then followed it with an email saying how they needed to reschedule AND that the pay range had changed. Called him and said there was nothing in your voicemail about a change in salary range, and he tried to assure me that he did. Played it right after the call and no, no he had not. The whole situation was shady, scummy, and could have cost me my job by reaching out to my company. If this is how your recruiters act, just imagine how the company operates as a whole? Should have known given they were hiring after a mass lay off just months before. There's a reason why Fivetran eats Matillion's lunch on every deal, and it shows from the very first conversation.
