Received an email for a 30-minute phone screening from the Corporate Recruitment team, which ended up being a Zoom lecture. Interviewer did not give me much of an opportunity to go through my resume and, instead, gave me a lecture on company culture. When asked about said company culture and my past experiences with it, I responded based on my understanding and was told that “that is the wrong answer”. Interviewer should have made it clear that this was an opportunity to lecture, instead of positioning it as a phone screening interview.
