The entire process was impersonal. Mars relies on HireVue as the first step should the recruiter/hiring manager express interest in interviewing. This is a one-way video interview in which they will pose a question providing you with ~45 seconds to prepare followed by 3 minutes to respond. You are given 2 reattempts per question. After which you receive no feedback except via automated email stating whether they want to proceed or not. The downside to this is if the role is no longer active/posted you have to way of being able to look back at the job description for which you applied for. This is not helpful considering for me, I had applied to this well over 30 days before receiving an interview request and could hardly remember the role specifics since been applying and interviewing other places. I hear of a great culture of inclusivity/diversity and embracing diversity of thought but not once did I get to speak with a real person. Lets bring back the human element in interviews.
