I had one interview, it was a little rushed and not too formal. The interview took place in the lobby restaurant called Crooked Branch. The interviewer was the manager of the restaurant I applied at, Rivertop, an outdoor grill restaurant at the pool deck. The interview went smoothly and like any other part-time interview with questions about how you have reacted in a difficult situation at work, how much work experience you have, why you want the job, and so on. I had a couple of friends working there and they gave me referrals, so the manager had faith and hired me on the spot.

The questions were kind of basic. I think that the most difficult question was "Why do you want to work here?" It's a little difficult to furnish an honest answer about wanting to serve people in the blazing sun all day long, and wanting to expo food in a fast food kitchen.

Applied on Marriott careers site, make sure you add your resume, waited a few days then the virtual assistant set up an interview onsite. Try to show up early in case if you need to find the hr office.
