I was an inside referral into sales for a different segment of hospitality. This position was for hospitality banquet and catering sales. I spoke first with a recruiter and that went well. Then I was set up for an interview with the General Manager at the hotel. It was a behavioral interview with questions that were not based upon the job description specifically.
After submitting application, a phone interview for the first round, virtual for the second. Average interview, nothing out of the ordinary for this position. Everything went quickly from the first interview to recieving offer.

You also have to pass the Marriott assessment test in order to even qualify for a job
