Two different recruiters contacted me via LinkedIn regarding an UX job with a specific company. Both times the recruiters were incredibly rude and demanding. Both recruiters asked me if I would be interested in speaking with them about the positions. I said yes and offered the next morning to give myself time to prep. That was not acceptable to either recruiter and both times they demanded that I speak with them immediately. Both then proceeded to refuse to speak to me because I wouldn't be bullied into talking with them upon demand. Ridiculous. Grow up. Recruiters - If you are reaching out to someone on Linkedin (i.e a cold call) you are on their time. They are not on yours. Therefore, they have the right to decide when and if an interview will happen. You don't ever demand it. Ever.
