I have applied for the internship in March, 2019. In June they have called me asking different simple questions related with my studies and interests. In 5-10 minutes they have already invited me to the interview to Madrid. I didn't ask for paying me the tickets but I sure the wouldn't. We were 8 applicants and first of all needed to complete three tests on the computer: 1. Maths (depending on the role you choose statistics or pure maths). Questions were not hard, just to understand the graphs or count the probabilities. 2. English - around 60 SUPEREASY test questions. 3. And understanding the world test. I haven't seen anything more stupid in my life because the questions were to find the synonyms ans correlations between words. Even for native Spaniards it was a bit hard because words were absolutely crazy and you could understand some of them only in the context. So with my B1 level I could rely only on my luck. After all this (around 1 hour) all of us had a dynamic interview together (we were applying for different roles). We needed to discuss 20 minutes the following problem: something happened with the island and we need to find solutions for help (housing, future weather forecasts, charity, money and so on) and to present the formulated ideas. For around 5 minutes they told us to talk in English. In 4 days they have written to me that I can't proceed to the next step. So for me people were nice but one of the tests was not very fair and I think that it can't evaluate my real knowledge. And the statistical test was also in Spanish and I still think that for a company native to US all the process should be held in English,
