Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 5 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Macy's (New York, NY) en mar 2018
Entrevista
Came early ~30mins spoke to the secretary. Just showed that I can be on time. Dress professional probably more than I needed to be for the actual job. Shook hands with the interviewer and handed my resumé. Answered all the question the best I could and honestly. I dont have any retail experience so I related college experience and volunteer experience as best as I could.
Its was over in maybe 20mins. Ive read on this site, another person said that if they say "We'll call you blah blah blah" then its a no, because they hire on the spot. Well in my case, they gave me the "well call you" bit and about a few days later, interviewed thursday, so the following week on Monday, I got an offer.
Questions: only asked in relation merchandising and basic retail stuff. Asked if Im confortable doing standing for long hours, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc things that come along with the job.
Always always related it to your experience, if you have no experience to point at, then admit to it but also say what would you do in that situation.
List everything you like about retail worker and what makes them good at their jobs and then remember it. Keep it on hand to say for when you lack specific examples. Some questions on here werent asked etc like "why do you want to work here? or why macys?" BUT I still prepped for these questions, so I was able throw in my well thought out answers for maybe other answers.
How long was the process? I just put 5 days because I counted the weekend and the day of the interview.

Tell me about a time where you had to interact with someone you dont know.
Casting call was a excellent place to be when I was hired. Talented people to interview you. And very competitive to get a ask. Attire was important of course. New York City was excellent
Interview was conducted online, automated and with hiring staff. Notified of next steps via email and phone call. Application process and approval process were streamlined. Everything was well communicated up to and including reporting for the first day of work.
Reached out via email followed by a phone call that if you move forward in the process leads to an offer (via email) and directions for your first day of orientation
