After these 5 extensive, and quite positive, conversations, (2 of which with the hiring manager in Pennsylvania) i was told to expect a decision the following week. When I did not hear back, I sent follow-up mails to the talent acquisition person, 1 and 4 weeks after the date where I should have heard back. A couple of days after the second mail I received an anonymous mail that I had been unsuccessful at this time. No call, no personal communication, no debrief. Embarrassing for Merck Corp.
