They wanted to know: - How do you solve problems when something breaks? - What have you actually built, and how does it work? - How do you think through difficult decisions? It felt like a conversation between two people talking about how to build things, not a test.

You had to explain the project and then someone asked you some technical questions about the same project, I would say the hardest part comes after when the HR person tries to ask you the same average questions of an interview, but they are completely random and you might not be prepared for it
