The hiring process went totally wrong. I was selected for the interview with the hiring manager that went successfully. I got positive feedback during the interview and an email a few days after confirming that they would like to continue with me. Second interview was scheduled and then cancelled at the last minute with no explanation why. It was a total silence for a month even though I followed up on the status with HR and also with the hiring manager. HR finally came with the feedback that I was not selected further. She could not explain why and what happened in between. I find the whole process very unprofessional and “inhuman”. It was very disappointing for me personally that the hiring manager (high level profile person) could not take 2 minutes to reply back to my email after such a positive conversation that we had. That speaks a lot about Maersk company culture. Be human!
