Social And Personal Questions related to you and your family?
The interview went quite well overall. It was primarily focused on general knowledge, especially related to oceans, seas, and major ports around the world. I was asked questions like the names and locations of important international ports, major shipping routes, and the different oceans and seas. There were also a few situational and basic maritime-related questions to check awareness and interest in the field. The panel seemed friendly and encouraging, and the atmosphere was professional yet not overly stressful. Overall, it was a good experience, with most questions being straightforward for someone who has a basic understanding of global geography and maritime topics.

One specific question I remember was about the strategic importance and use of the Suez Canal and the Persian Gulf in international shipping. They asked how these regions impact global maritime trade and why they are crucial for the shipping industry
First round was personality test and aptitude test. Half an hour interview. Questions were mostly based on navigational knowledge, rules, and basic knowledge. Friendly and relaxed interview environment. Overall good experience.
