Applied through their website and got a phone interview within a week. Phone interview was about 45 minutes long, and covered basic questions (both behavioral and technical). Technical questions like uses/applications of resistors, capacitors and inductors, BJTs & FETs, voltage regulator etc. It was easy and comfortable. I got an email within 2-3 days for an on-site interview at Coopersburg, PA. The interview began around 8:15 AM with a tour of one of their residential experience centers (it was amazing). Then there was an HR type interview (about 30-45 min) covering basic behavioral questions like why choose Lutron, this major, this school, favorite courses, work/internship experience, how did you solve a difficult situation at your internship/school. Then there was technical interview with two people for about 60-90 min covering two questions/problems: 1) Two bulbs are in series, so which one will grow brighter (really simple problem; use P=VI to solve). 2) pnp transistor with a capacitor on collector and voltage source between base and emitter (this was a bit tricky and cost me the interview). The transistor is basically a current source for the capacitor. I was asked to draw the output voltage and current characteristics. They kept asking why are you doing this, how will you do proceed next. This was a bit uncomfortable as I was not sure. After the technical round, there was "brainstorming" session in which was basically role playing kind of thing. This may seem easy but they are looking for innovative ideas in this discussion. They are not necessarily seeking logical answers but new 'out of the box' ideas. This went on about 45 minutes. Be careful on this one! Lunch and tour with an employee, and then bye bye.
