The process was not a great one. The VP of Customer Success reached out to me and had a phone screen with me. After a week they had me come in for a few rounds of interviews. I was told the interview would be for about an hour and it turned out to be a few different rounds of interviews. After the first interview. I didn't hear from them for almost a month. I followed up a few times, but I was told they were busy.
They finally asked me to come to interview with the COO and CEO, but the CEO was in and out of the interview the whole time. After that round of interviews, I didn't hear back for another two weeks, and I kept following up each week. Finally they said that they didn't have a need for the position anymore and they'd reach out if anything came up.

Explain a situation where you had to troubleshoot an error. How did you go about it and what was the result?
The interview conversations were professional and engaging. Unfortunately, everything fell apart at the end, as the way the final stage was handled was extremely disappointing.
After completing all interview rounds, being told I had successfully reached the final stage, and even being asked to provide referrals from my professional network, I received nothing more than a generic rejection email.
Despite directly requesting feedback, I was never given any real explanation or opportunity to understand the decision.
Given the level of time, preparation, and personal effort required at this stage, including involving external references, this felt dismissive and unprofessional.
I strongly encourage the company to treat final-round candidates with more transparency and respect. If a company asks candidates to invest this much and involve their professional network, the bare minimum is honest communication.
The lack of transparency and accountability at the end made the entire process feel one-sided and disrespectful.
