Entrevista
First stage: a quick 30 min call with HR.
Second stage: FE Technical Challenge that took 2 days to solve. This was to create an accordion showing checkboxes when expanded, representing tasks that user could set and could mark them as done. Additionally I had to include a process-bar that reflected the current progress of the checked tasks. They included Sigma files and an endpoint to retrieve data from. They asked that they preferred to avoid using UI libraries so that we can properly assess your HTML, CSS and a11y skills. And that you create code that is readable, maintainable and scalable.
Took 2 days to finish all their requirements and received rejection letter 3 weeks later. While not at all mentioned in the requirements they expressed that it didn’t work mobile, also that they wanted more accessibility features done which I specifically said I didn’t because out of time. The rejection letter mentioned they ’have recently closed this position for the time being’ which make me suspect that there was not a position at all to start with. Many HR do create fictitious positions to keep themselves warm when interviewing without regard for the interviewees time at all. Never felt any Frontend engineer reviewed my code and they just declared I should have done more instead of asking me for a tech interview so I can clarify what did I do and what not.

The interview process was pretty smooth and straightforward. First there was an initial call from the HR person, discussing my previous experience and the company. They gave a Technical Assessment that was due within a week.
