Entrevista
(This position was related to the Finance division)
I applied online late November 2014, they contacted me in mid-February and had a short phone interview where they wanted to know more about me and also informed me about the job requirements. I was invited to the interview event at their facility in early March. Had an one-on-one interview in person that lasted for about an hour. There was a little small talk before the interview, but the interviewer read his questions off a list. The interviewer asked me a vast array of questions ranging from behavioral/hypothetical, general interview questions, and a few personal ones (no technical questions to my surprise, though I realize that is the job title). They were definitely trying to assess if I was a good fit for that work environment rather than assessing my technical abilities. Finally, the interviewer also described the internship roles and responsibilities and informed me about the specific division in the company and what they do. Overall, I'd say I did alright, but there were definitely some questions that I could have answered better. After the interview, there was a brief tour of the facility. I had to reach out to the interviewer a month later to know if they had made decision, I was then informed that they chose another candidate. Nonetheless, I am grateful for the experience and I believe it benefited me in the long run.

I applied on Lockheed Martin's website, then received an email from their hiring manager inviting me to a company dinner and hiring event. I attended the dinner beforehand and chatted with fellow interviewees and current employees, and the next day attended the hiring event on the Lockheed Martin campus. It was an all day event with presentations, tours, and breakfast and lunch provided! Every employee I met was very knowledgeable and wonderfully nice!

It was a typical behavioral interview. Very simple questions were asked such as describe a time you were on a team, one time you failed, one time you dealt with pressure, etc. Use the STAR method to answer most of the questions. Interviewer walk you through your resume and made you expand on particular experiences

Interview was very straightforward and not technical at all. Mostly behavioral questions and relatively short, maybe 10 minutes. The interviewer did ask about what experience I had with programming languages, and how much. After the interviewer asks you questions, you are free to discuss whatever you want. The interviewer seemed pretty laid back and you could easily ask about salary, company culture, and workplace environment. The interviewer was very understanding that this position is an internship, and that learning was a big part of it so some of my shortcoming in the programming languages I didn't know and were used in the job was to be expected. Overall very friendly and nice.
