The interview process was standard and started out well enough. A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn, we had a phone screening and then she scheduled the initial interview. The initial interview went well and was standard interview questions. A few days later I was contacted for the second round interview, which was decent but some of the questions were impossible to answer without context. A week later I reached out to the recruiter who said she would have an update for me within a few business days. I never heard from them again, not even a “We will be moving forward with another candidate”. There is absolutely no excuse for this anymore. Even if a candidate is not the first choice for your job, you never know how this could come back to haunt you because this candidate will talk to other professionals about their experience.
