I applied to the position via LinkedIn and was contacted by a recruiter about a week later. Had a 45 minute phone interview with recruiting, then was contacted about another week later to set up a 30 minute phone interview with the hiring manager. After that phone call, it took about 2 months to set up an in person interview. Though it was lengthy, the recruiting team kept in touch with me the whole time and provided updates. Once I had the in person interview, the turnaround time for an offer was less than one day.
From the time I applied to the time I accepted the offer was three months.

Not unexpected, but I was asked repeatedly about how I communicate effectively with varying levels of seniority and how I build relationships with them.

The Position description was different from the actual role they were hiring for. The follow ups for interviews were placed back on me. I stopped following up after the second interview because this was a red flag for me.

Over all a quick process, spoke to a recruiter first then the following week spoke to the director of the department during that call I met another counter part. Offer was made the following week.

Applied on LinkedIn for the role. About a week later I was contacted for a phone interview from a recruiter in the Beverly Hills office (the role is located in NYC).
On the phone, the recruiter was dead and seemed over it before the conversation even started. I did not take offense to it since it was the end of the workday. After we spoke she told me she would get back to me early next week with a decision. I reached out at the end of the following week and to this day I have not gotten an update (I interviewed in early February).
I have no problem being rejected but being ghosted by a recruiter is annoying. They need to be better at following up with their candidates. If I just applied and never had a phone interview, then I would not have an issue, but we took the time to speak to each other, the least you could do is give me an update.
