Entrevista de Any "Marketing" Positions They Post On Career Builder, Etc

      Solicitud

Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 3 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Linked-In Marketing (Waltham, MA)

      Entrevista

The first interview was them just asking me a bunch of questions. When I in return asked them questions, they told me if I was asked back for a second interview I'd find out. When I was asked back for a second interview, I was told it would be an all day thing 930-5ish. When I got there I had to sign something saying I would agree to going out with a rep all day. It was then that I found out this entry level position has nothing to do with marketing. Verizon Fios outsourced its marketing to this agency, so as an entry level employee, you go to businesses that are Fios capable and explain why they should switch over. It's sales. Entry level position is an account executive, and from there you become a corporate trainer. Those two positions are SALARY only, although the posts on career builder don't specify that. After being offered the job, I asked if I could have a few days to get back to them. He asked me for a start date and I said I don't know, either this week or next week, but I need to think about it. The guy basically talked about how there is a demand and blah blah, so again asked me a start date, and I said the same, either this week or next week. He put me down to start the day after tomorrow! Needless to say I called and denied the position and thanked them for the offer. If they are that pushy about getting someone to start, imagine what it would be like working there. Not to mention that I didn't get out of there until about 6 when I was told the day would go until 5, 530 the latest. I'm writing this because I couldn't find anything about this company, which is very unusual. I hope it is helpful. And to all job seekers, BE CAREFUL. This is the second job interview experience I have had that has been basically sales, and my friend also had a similar run in with a different company!
