Before the rescheduled session, I was asked to turn off my camera, which felt unusual and inconsistent with standard interview practices. So just an fyi to the company If they read this. When I asked a question about what success in the role looks like, the response was dismissive and dismissively referred me back to the job posting instead of offering clarification. And I quote “I’m not sure what you’re asking . It’s all in the job description”. Not a good reflection on the company if talent partner can’t even piece together a good intelligent response to show basic understanding of the role. But okay. Last I checked that’s a standard interview question that candidates who are interested in the role can ask. This experience did not reflect a well-prepared or candidate-focused interview process.
