Applied with linkedin, got a mail from a recruiter asking for a call, the call went great. I was scheduled for the next round with development manager, where there was no actual code to be written it was more just, discussing the api contracts, components etc, which mostly dealt around creating schema less ui that can be configured by the BE, i could say he wasn’t satisfied with my solution, so i also provided some alternatives hoping one of them will be what’s he’s looking for, sadly none were. So a week later i got the rejection mail from them.

The interview process was straightforward. It started with a brief call to confirm the position requirements, followed by a 1-hour session to assess basic technical knowledge and understand the team dynamics. This session was a two-way conversation, including some basic JS/TS/React questions. Next was a 90-minute live React coding exercise, which was simple if you’ve worked with React recently. Finally, there was a 1-hour call focused on discussing past projects, some behavioral questions, and engaging in further dialogue.
The coding exercise was fairly simple, but the engineers on the call made sure communication was smooth. Meeting the team was a major plus in my decision to accept the offer.
It took about two weeks to have the initial call after applying. However, the first three interviews happened within the same week, with the final call and offer coming the following week. The timeline might have been influenced by my availability as well.
