I was contacted by a recruiter within 24 hours to schedule a phone screen and had two in person interviews - one with the hiring manager and one with the rest of the team. The reason I say my experience was neutral was because they offered me the position and i decided to renegotiate my salary in which the recruiter stated that my negotiated salary was approved. Only for him to call me back and say no we can’t pay that even though he said the salary that I qualify for was the salary i negotiated.
