I received an email invitation for a screening call conducted via Teams. A week later, I was delighted to receive another email congratulating me on my progress and inviting me to a Teams interview. The email indicated that the team was eager to learn about my background and share information about the position and their own backgrounds. However, to my surprise, the interview turned out to be a coding assessment with two panel members. This unexpected turn of events caught me off guard, and unfortunately, I did not perform well in the assessment. The lack of clear communication about the nature of the interview was unfair and left me unprepared for the coding assessment which resulted in a lost opportunity. I tried contacting them but have been ghosted ever since
