After HR screen and Excel test, I was scheduled to meet with managers who this role would work closely with. During the interview, the managers had no clue about who this role is reporting to. Also, they were not able to explain the responsibilities of this role. A few managers did not show up the interview. It was very unprofessional. I had to reschedule with the recruiter several time. After over a month of the interview, I was asked to provide references. However, the recruiter was not able to confirm if they planned to extend an offer. I still provided them the references. A week later, the recruiter came back and told me the team was actually looking for someone who has a stronger experience. But she recommended me to interview for another position. Eventually I started the whole interview process again. I interviewed with another hiring manager and completed another excel exercise and powerpoint presentation. The whole interview process took 3 months.
