      It was an average interview. I spoke with someone on the phone for about a half hour. We basically went over my history but I never really got much information about the company or position.

      The whole process was very off putting. I sent my availability, but never received confirmation of a date/time. Then I get an email from the department director asking why I wasn’t at the interview! I had no idea it was happening! Eventually I had the interview, all was well, I got put through to the next round and same thing. I had questions afterwards and the recruiter never answered them. Eventually I had the next round of interviews and I had to mention I was ill with the norovirus but still showed up for the zoom call because the recruiter was uncooperative. I was rushed between interviews because they wanted to hire quickly and then it took them two weeks to get back to me with a rejection email. The whole thing made me look and feel like a terrible candidate and it didn’t leave me a great impression about the recruitment process or company. Everyone I spoke to was kind but that doesn’t make up for the lack of communication throughout the interview process.

      The interview process was a 3 step process that included a phone screen, interview and separate onsite demo given by the candidate interviewing of their product. They allow you to learn and work with their product for a week and then, you present to the team as if they were a client being trained. The demo prep was time consuming but really aided in providing clarity as to what their product is like. Everyone was super friendly and pleasant and I’m sure it’s a LearnUpon is a wonderful company to work for. My one complaint is that I was told that it came down to timing for the role and they didn’t have any additional feedback.
