After two great interviews (with great enthusiasm expressed re my experience), both the recruiter and hiring manager completely ghosted and ignored my thank you and follow up emails requesting an update. When a company still feels it's acceptable to ghost highly qualified candidates - it not only raises concerns about the workload and culture - it demonstrates a certain naiveté about how this 'we don't owe you courtesy' attitude will ultimately impact the company's reputation. And if you're in marketing - that ain't good.
