Two telephone interview followed by a panel interview with presentation.
The first telephone interview was carried out by a HR person and asked 'typical' phone interview questions.
The second telephone interview was between me and two heads of department. Technical questions were asked to understand the depth of my scientific knowledge.
The panel interview required a 20-30 min presentation followed by 10-15 min of questions. This was followed by three mini panel interviews where they focused both on my scientific and managerial knowledge. The questions were asked in the STAR format. The inetrview lasted four hours.

No question as such but they wanted to know a lot of technical detail. I didn't know the answers to some questions but they didn't mind, and in fact said I would get full training.
They used a Behavorial - based STAR interview technique. The predictor of future behavior is past behavior. For example, tell me about a time when you had to make a difficult decision.
Fast and efficient process. First contacted by talent acquisition and went through a screening call. If selected to move forward, separate interviews were scheduled with the hiring manager and other members on the team.
