We understand the disappointment of an interview not resulting in the desired outcome and would like to provide reassurance that the LSU Foundation does not ever use interview quotas. Our focus with all search processes is identifying highly qualified candidates and honoring our commitment to providing equal employment opportunities. We do not conduct 9-hour roundtable interviews, but our process is intentionally rigorous. We strive to find the very best employees to bring forth the LSU Foundation’s mission. Although we have not recently filled any fundraising positions with current employees, internal promotions are a point of pride for us; we invest in and grow our own talent pool. When we invite external applicants, it is part of a sincere effort to identify the best-qualified candidate, and that is how we make our hiring decisions.
